Welcome to the Gravesend & Northfleet Twins Club web site. Gravesend & Northfleet Twins club re-opened in July 2005, by Melanie & Mandy, due to the arrival of our own twins & the increase in multiple births in the area. We provide a friendly environment for our members, where you can make friends, or just chat with other parents, whilst relaxing with a tea or coffee. The children also make friends & have a great time. We mainly mention Mums/Carers, but we would like to stress that Dads are also more than welcome to bring their children along. We have one father who comes along with his wife & family most weeks & another who brings his son & twin daughters on his own. We are open weekly on Thursdays 12.30pm - 2.30pm at St Marks Church, Rosherville, Gravesend . Anyone who cares for multiples & their families are welcome. Expectant parents of multiples are also encouraged to join us. As we know too well, there are all sorts of questions you need to ask & who better to get advice from than people who already have multiples. (I'm sure we all have stories to tell!) Parents of single babies are also welcome, but the charges remain the same no matter how many children you have. Each week a range of toys & activities are set out, which are suitable for children up to school age. (Older children are welcome in school holidays!) We also have an activity table each week with things like playdough, painting etc. although younger children may obviously require your supervision. We currently print a quarterly newsletter & through this & the weekly meetings provide help & support to parents/carers of multiples. From the day you discover that you have a mulitple pregnancy. Come here to share your worries & funnies with other people who know what you are going through. There is also a section for items wanted & for sale. This is new so it will take a while to build up. Your input will help build this into a great forum.

Many big name stores are available e.g Adams Kids, Early Learning, M&S & John Lewis to name but a few. Our mums/carers are looked after as well. We plan pamper afternoons where a local consultant comes in to take away all our stresses & strains. So far we have had Massage with Hot Stones, an Indian Head Massage and eyebrow threading. Consultants usually charge around £5 for a 15 minute session. We arrange Mums Nights Out. We have had a couple of meals & been Bowling. These are great fun!!!!

cards, priority booking on our pamper afternoons, FREE entry to our
Parties & Special Events, the use of our Tamba discount card. (A
list of participating companies who offer Tamba discount is available)
& a reduced weekly charge of £1.50 (saving you £16.50
over the year). We intend to add to these benefits as opportunities
arise. Please note, these charges are to cover the cost of the hall hire, refreshments & any supplies we need. We are not a profit making organisation & all money taken will be used for the club.
